In order to achieve the objectives and goals of the UNISS and the SDGs, a lasting commitment based on a considerable investment of time and resources is required to translate the vision of UNISS in the Sahel into concrete achievements. This will require well coordinated efforts through the convergence of joint impact strategies by the entire United Nations System in the region including by continuous strengthening of synergies and collaboration with partners for the mobilization of resources.
